Requirements :

• Interested candidates should have a BSc Degree in Physiotherapy i.e. a 4 year degree. Registered with the HPCSA as an Independent Practice Physiotherapist with current proof of registration . A minimum of 1 year community service completed.

Duties :

• To provide optimal and evidence based Physiotherapy treatments to patients. To perform and complete administrative functions including data compilation and monthly report submissions. Participate in the mentorship and training of community service therapists and students. Participate in the departmental policy on training and professional development. To ensure departmental standards are met and effective patient service delivery, in line with Ideal Hospital Framework and Policy. Sound knowledge of clinical theory, practice and ethics relating to the delivery of Physiotherapy services within a hospital setting. Good communication skills (verbal and written), computer skills and good interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and in a changing environment and under pressure.
