Requirements :

  • Grade 12 certificate. Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a staff Nurse. Registration with SANC as Enrolled Nurse and proof of current registration. A minimum of 4 years ‘appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse

Duties :

  • To ensure safe and effective clinical nursing practice, ensure effective management of quality Nursing Service, Mentoring of Enrolled Nursing Assistances, ensure that the Nursing standards are upheld and maintained, ensure effective communication within the health setting, ensure optimal utilization of Human and material resources. Demonstration basic understanding of the legislative framework protocols or policies governing the public service. Ensure that the national core standards are maintained and upheld.
