Requirements :

• Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Psychologist. GRADE 1: No experience required. GRADE 2: A minimum of 8 years appropriate experience as Psychologist after registration with the HPCSA. GRADE 3: A minimum of 13 years appropriate experience as a psychologist after registration with the HPCSA. Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Registration with HPCSA as Clinical Psychologist (independent Practice).

Duties :

• Diagnostic assessment, full Psychological Assessment, Psychotherapy to in and out-patients, provide training to relevant staff members, interest in working with children, knowledge of mental health legislation and relevant ethical practices, must be able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary context, ability to initiate group Psychotherapy and ability to participate in peer reviews and presentations and keep accurate records.
