Requirements :

An undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6 or 7 in Communications/Journalism. A minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.
COMPETENCIES: GPG and DID policies and procedures. Legislation and Public Service Regulations. Publications Management. SKILLS: Communication, Report writing , Analytical, and Research. ATTRIBUTES- Self-Driven, Innovative, Team player, Adaptable.
Duties :
-
Conduct benchmarking exercises to determine best practices on publications management procedures. Provide inputs to the development of the strategy. Update the strategy in line with changes and new developments. Provide creative conceptualisation, layout, design and production of various corporate publications, including weekly newsletters, logos and associated collateral. Produce new and unique ideas to represent specific briefs. Apply corporate identity across all branding. Design web and user interfaces, site maps and icons. Provide print ready designs. Provide photography services. Assist in the compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports linked to M&E frameworks.
