Requirements :

• • Grade 12, (NQF Level 4) • Be in possession of a three (3) year National Diploma / Degree in Internal Audit / Bcom Accounting / Bachelor of Accounting Sciences / Financial Accounting / Bcom in Financial Management / Cost and Management Accounting recorded on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD) on at least a NQF 6 or higher level; • Confirmation letter from institution; • Computer literacy Microsoft Office Applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint; • Communication skills (Both written and verbal) • Confidentiality and trustworthy • Team player and reliability • Numerical skills • Planning and organizing • Result driven and self-motivated

Duties :

• • Conduct preliminary survey through gathering background and contextual information relevant to the audit project. • Conduct a risk assessment through interviews, inspect and analyse information obtained, record results and identify high risk areas to inform audit programme relevant to the audit project. • Develop findings and recommendation for the enhancement of basic controls/process by documenting finding in the required format, present findings to the project leader, discuss finding and recommend to the departments, make recommendations to the project leader on possible changes to reportable items. • Maintain good relations with the MTC departments before, during and after the audit in order to ensure departmental satisfaction. • Execute audit steps as per the audit program by selecting sample, test sample, determine the impact of inadequacies or ineffectiveness of controls, gather evidence, complete work papers, and draw conclusion. • Execute, document finding and sign off audit working papers of engagement
