Requirements :

  • Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of 5 years' experience in PMDS, Skills Development and Training Coordination environment or a National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management with 3 years relevant experience in PMDS, Skills Development and Training Coordination. Certificates of Education Training Development Practitioner-ETDP, Management of Training, Skills Development Facilitation will be an added advantage. Must have presentation skills and Financial Management. Must be able to work independently, have report writing, time management and sound communication skills (written and verbal). Must be computer literate in Microsoft Package (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Must have the ability to work in a team, work under pressure, and take initiative as well as the ability to organize, plan and be self- motivated. Knowledge of PERSAL system.

Duties :

  • To co-ordinate institution training needs and AET. To ensure training and development compliance is adhered to as well as the incorporation of all relevant prescripts. Develop and implement workplace skills plan in line with Skills Development Act. To ensure that incorporation in terms of the Sector skills plans into the organizational skills plans are properly executed. Identify training needs and formulate training programs for the organization. Conduct induction and orientation programs. Facilitate performance evaluation and induction of new employees. Co-ordination of Performance Management and Development Systems in line with PMDS Policy. Facilitation of skills development and employment equity scheduled meetings. Assist with other Human Resource Administration duties. Compile monthly, quarterly and yearly reports. Perform all other HR related as delegated.
