Requirements :

• Matric / Senior certificate. Basic R425 qualification Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse. Current registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.

Duties :

• Provide direction and supervision for the implementation of the nursing care plan (clinical practice/quality patient care). Implement standards, practices, criteria and indicators for quality nursing with the prevention or serious adverse events. Practice nursing and health care in accordance with the laws and regulations relevant to nursing and health care. Maintain a constructive working relationship with nursing and other stakeholders. Utilize human material and physical resources efficiently and effectively. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and development of self and subordinates. Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, supervisors, and relatives. Be able to advocate for patients and be aware and willing to respond to patients needs. Have knowledge of ideal hospital realization and maintenance framework. Willing to work shifts, be flexible and ability to function under stressful situation.
