Requirements :

• Appropriate qualification that allows for the required registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession to perform Community service. No experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession in respect of RSA qualified employees who performed Community Service as required in South Africa. Degree in Dietician. Registration with Health Professions Council of South African (HPCSA) as a Dietitian and proof of current HPCSA registration.

Duties :

• Provide Dietetics services for in- and out-patients in adherence to the scope of practice and health protocols. Compile monthly statistics of activities conducted. Adherence to infection control and hygiene standards required by the departmental guidelines. Supervise and train Dietician students. Participate on the Development and implementation of Nutritional guidelines for the unit. Attend relevant meetings. Comply with the Performance Management and Development System (PMDS)
