Requirements :

• Grade 12 plus five years’ experience as a Librarian and Degree/Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Library Information Practice/Library Information Science or equivalent qualification in Library Science. Knowledge of relevant legislation/directives and policies. Computer literacy. A valid drivers’ licence.

Duties :

• Implement Library information. Market the library and media centre. Maintenance of library material. Support training and development of nursing students. Supervision of personnel in the library. Enhance accessibility of information and services to patrons. Provide support in the administration and management of library services. Library management. Risk management. Support the vision and mission of the campus.
