R 1 162 200. 00 – R 1 365 411.00 per annum (All-inclusive Package); The package includes a basic salary (70% of package), and a flexible portion of 30% that may be structured in terms of applicable rules. Which includes state’s contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund (13% of basic salary). Requirements :

A relevant (NQF 7) qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience at Middle/Senior managerial level. Registered with PSIRA grade A or B. Completed training offered by State Security Agency. A valid drivers license. Pre-Entry SMS certificate. Risk Management. Knowledge of Minimum Information Security Standards and its interpretation. Project Management and understanding of Security Standards and its interpretation in the Public Service. The Public Finance Management Act. Knowledge of public sector policies. SKILLS: Strategic capability and leadership skills. Problem solving and analysis. Creativity, Financial management. Client focused and responsiveness. Communication, computer, negotiations, conflict and change management skills. Planning and organising skills.
Duties :

To manage security services of the Department. Develop and implement security policies based on Minimum Information Security Standards and Minimum Physical Security Standards. Plan, develop and Implement security plans, Security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management. Physical Security Information Protection, Incident management and / or investigation. Administer the security appraisal and vetting of employees and contractors. Develop guidelines for managing access control to the Department. Manage information security.
