Requirements :

  • A SAQA recognized NQF Level 6 tertiary qualification in Human Resource Development/Management OR Degree/Diploma in Nursing/health related field. A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in Training and Development environment. A valid Driver’s Licence. Knowledge of the Public Service Act and Regulations, Skills Development Act, South African Qualification Authority (SAQA), National Qualifications Framework (NQF), and Labour Relation Act. Presentation and Facilitation skills. Proof of current registration with SANC or relevant regulatory body. Must be able to work independently. Report writing and good communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation). Proficient in computer skills in particular Excel, Word, Power Point Outlook. Ability to plan, organize and facilitate training courses including CHW qualification and other priority courses. Ability to develop and manage curricula. Coordination, negotiation and project management skills. Candidate will be subjected to computer skills test. Knowledge of different training methodologies. Knowledge of policy development and application. A high level of diligence and commitment in ensuring that all duties are performed according to standard, quality and meet the time frames set. An independent critical thinker. An ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines.

Duties :

  • Coordinate and support the implementation of the RTC Business Plans. Plan, organize and monitor all education, training, and development activities for the Professional Development (Training and CPD). Support the performance of Training, Development and CPD objectives. Conduct skills audits and training needs analysis. Develop annual training plans/calendar for Professional Development. Liaise with subject matter experts and specialists in the department. Participate in activities for the Curriculum development for skills programs and qualifications, standardization, and accreditation of all training programmes to meet the requirements set by National Department of Health and accrediting bodies. Conduct/facilitate training programmes for the Training, Development and CPD trainings across all districts in Gauteng. Managing training programmes and statistics reports monthly, quarterly and annually. Participate in related policy development and review. Management of human, physical, financial resources and write reports. Participate according to delegated projects. Participate in the development and management of the internal financial and procurement systems for the Training, Development and CPD Programme.
