Requirements :

  • Grade 12. A relevant qualification will be an added advantage. 0-2 years in transport and asset administration. A valid Code 10 drivers license, PDP will be an added advantage. Knowledge in transport and asset administration and related policies. Willingness to work extended hours. Computer literacy. Good writing and verbal communication skills. Understanding of the Batho Pele Principles.

Duties :

  • Provide day to day management of vehicles usage and maintenance. Ensure logbooks are controlled and completed for all trips. Keep vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate maintenance requirements. Compile all transport reports. Monitor drivers. Monitor compliance with transport policy and prescripts. Attend transport forum meetings. Perform asset barcoding, verification, and maintenance of the asset register. Compile monthly asset reconciliations and related reports. Perform other delegated duties.
