Degree/National Diploma in Finance with 5 years’ experience in Finance and Revenue or Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with 7 years’ appropriate experience in Finance and Revenue. Must have extensive knowledge of Billing, revenue collection and reporting. Computer literacy (MS Word/Excel). Knowledge of and skilled in PFMA, Treasury Regulations and Procedure Manuals. Experienced in SAP/PAAB/BAS/HIS systems. Good communication and decision-making skills. Must be able to work under pressure.
Duties :

Monitor expenditure against budget allocation items and collection of revenue. Receive RLS01 documents and allocate budget as per SCOA codes. Responsible for correcting unauthorised expenditure with journals. Analyse and compile revenue reports, annexure C and F in line with the PAAB/HIS systems. Responsible for tracing and billing, patient accounts and assisting in main cashier. Implementation of the PFMA, Treasury Regulations and adherence to all financial delegations in the GDoH. Assisting with recons (BAS/PAAB, E-Receipting, BAS/SAP and BAS/TPH45A etc.). Must assist in Accounts Payable. Must be Health Information System (HIS) compliant: Billing and Reporting (HIS).
