Requirements :

• Senior certificate or Grade 12, MBCHB or equivalent qualifications. Registration certificate with the HPCSA as Independent Medical Practitioner. Current registration with HPCSA. One year experience in discipline of Radiology. Sound clinical and radiological knowledge within the discipline. Ability to deal with all radiological emergencies. Knowledge of ethical medical practice. Ability to assess, diagnose and manage patient.

Duties :

• Render radiological duties – inpatient and outpatient; normal and after-hours. Render cost effective medical care, incorporating radiological management and follow-up. Maintain radiology records. Undertake on-going Medical Education and Professional Development. Suggest alternative medical imaging where necessary. Interpreting results and writing reports for CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and Plain Films. Communicate and discuss results and Diagnosis with Clinicians.
