• Package : R 1 162 200. 00 – R 1 365 411.00 per annum (All-inclusive Package); The package includes a basic salary (70% of package), and a flexible portion of 30% that may be structured in terms of applicable rules. Requirements :

• A relevant (NQF 7) qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience at Middle/Senior managerial level in Transport / Public Transport. A valid driver’s licence. Pre-Entry SMS Certificate. KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Road Traffic Management Corporation Act. Knowledge of Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (Aarto). Duties :

• Discharge regulatory functions in terms of National Land Transport Act and its regulations, the Gauteng Provincial Regulatory Entity Regulations and other mandatory regulatory prescripts. Head the Regulatory Entity and provide high level public transport regulatory services to the Department. Contribute towards the drafting of National and Provincial public transport legislation. Adjudicate on applications for operating licenses. Overseeing and monitoring of public transport. Stakeholder liaison. Manage the resources of the component and perform generic management functions.
