Requirements :

  • Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. Current registration with HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. Must have Matric Certificate. Ability to function independently and be part of a multidisciplinary team. Applicant must be solution-oriented and have good decision-making skills. Grade 1: No experience required after registration with HPCSA as medical practitioner. Grade 2: A minimum of five (5) years appropriate experience as medical officer after registration with HPCSA as medical practitioner. Grade 3: A minimum of ten (10) years appropriate experience as medical officer after registration with HPCSA as medical practitioner.

Duties :

  • Ensure effective and efficient obstetrics and gynaecological service delivery. Provide clinical care and treatment. Provide training to Interns and Medical students. Better utilization of resources such as laboratory and blood products. Supervision of undergraduates and interns. Perform compulsory commuted overtime. Ensure compliance with policies/protocols.
