Requirements :

  • MBChB. Candidates must have completed community service training. Must be registered with the HPCSA as a medical practitioner. It is also a requirement to have completed the Advanced Trauma Life Support Course (ATLS), Basic Surgical Skills Course( BSSC) and passed general surgery primary examination provided by the College of Medicine of South Africa.

Duties :

  • Taking care of surgical patients. Rotation through other surgical disciplines and intensive care unit. You have to register for M.MED degree with the University of Pretoria. The position of a registrar requires rotation between Tembisa Provincial Tertiary hospital, Kalafong Provincial Tertiary hospital and Steve Biko Academic hospitals.

Identity verification, qualifications verification, criminal record checks, credit/financial stability checks and employment verification.
