ABET Level 02 or equivalent qualification. No experience required. The following will be added advantage: Grade 12 with 0-2 years’ experience in laundry services, Good communication skills, writing skills, Customer relation skills, Problem solving, Be able to work shifts, Be a team player and be able to work independently. Knowledge of working procedure such as laundry working environment. Skills: Basic numeracy, literacy, good communication, sound human relation, ability to perform routine tasks and Basic interpersonal relationship.
Duties :

Receive clean linen from the main laundry, Sorting of clean linen. Distributing clean linen to their respective wards and clinics, collect soiled linen from the ward, Sort soiled, infectious, contaminated and fowl linen according to the colour coded bags, Sluice the heavily soiled linen, Pack, and mark soiled linen into the linen bags, Ensure the cleaning of storerooms, linen room, trolleys, shelves. Ensure that staff always wear PPE/ uniform. Take instruction from the supervisor.
