Requirements :

  • Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 certificate equivalent (Standard 10, NQF Level 4, N3). Computer Literate (Ms Word Excel & Power Point). Extensive knowledge of Procurement framework/Provisioning Administration Systems (PAS) as per core will be an added advantage. Sound knowledge of procure to pay (P2P), Supplier Relations Management(SRM), PFMA, PPPF, BBB-EE Act and Treasury Regulations, Treasury Instructions and Practice notes, Supply Chain Management Polices and all guidelines. Knowledge of Stores management will be added advantage. In-depth knowledge of Financial systems, Asset Management Framework, Supply Chain Management. Skills and Competencies: Planning coordination expediting, reporting, proactiveness and organizing skills: Good interpersonal relations; effective communication skills (written and verbal; Computer literacy; Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. The ability to work under pressure, work in a team and preparedness to work overtime when required. Basic knowledge of project management. Applicant should be prepared to undergo medical surveillance.

Duties :

  • Update and monitor demand and procurement plan of the institution. Request quotations from CSD. Capture RLS01 on SRM system. Provide secretariat functions during quotation adjudication committee. Receive and verify goods from suppliers. Update VA10 tally cards on stock received or issued. Issue goods to end users. Update VA11 tally cards on stock received and issued to end users. Adhere to three-way match when receiving goods and doing confirmation. Follow up deliveries with the suppliers. Completing and signing of RLS02 for capturing of GRV’s on SRM. Resolve and clear web cycle and attend to supplier queries in relation to outstanding invoices. The incumbent should be flexible to be deployed, and to be rotated across all sections of Supply Chain. To be able to perform and/ or carry other lawful duties or instructions as delegated by supervisor or manager. Compliance to confidentiality. Comply with the Performance Management and Development System (Contracting, reviews and final assessment).
