Requirements :

• BChD or equivalent qualification. Registration with HPCSA as a Dentist in the category independent practice. Experience in treating Endodontic patients. Experience in teaching and training students in Endodontics. At least 3 years of experience post Community Service. RECOMMENDATIONS: Postgraduate qualification in Endodontics and experience in Dental research.

Duties :

• Teaching and training of students in Endodontics, Dental material, Basic restoration dentistry as well as Pedodontics. Supervising students in the clinical wards in the Department of Odontology. You will also be required to complete Masters (if you don't have one). You will be required to do research and publish at least one article per year in ISI Journal. Selective clinical duties will be assigned to the candidate as seen fit by the Head of Department. This may include managing and treating patients with special health care needs.
