Requirements :

  • Matric plus NQF Level 6/ National Diploma in Human Resource Management/Labour/Law or relevant qualification, coupled with 1-2 years’ experience in a similar environment. Competencies: Computer literacy: familiarity with Microsoft Office Packages; Decision making skills: ability to make informed decision; Planning skills: ability to plan activities in advance; Negotiation skills: negotiate with service providers and other stakeholders; Excellent inter-personal skills: ability to interact with different people; Good Verbal and written communication Skills: proper communication; Ability to work under pressure and deadline driven; Team work: ability to work in a team; Familiarity with Microsoft Office Packages, and a valid driver’s License.

Duties :

  • Provide administrative support to Gauteng municipalities with the standardisation of Human Resource processes in line with thirteen (13) HR standards with a focus on legal and labour relations; Provide administrative support in the hosting of the Municipal HR Dialogue and stakeholders for Gauteng municipalities; Render administrative support to the steering committee; File all documents related to HR value chain support; Provide administrative support in monitoring all municipalities functional Performance Management Systems and policies; Provide administrative support in hosting of the Municipal PMS Indaba for all Gauteng municipalities; Render administrative support the steering committee to address project challenges and any other risk that can hinder project success; File all documents related to PMS support; Support the sub-directorate to provide support to Gauteng municipalities with labour, legal and other related litigation matters; Render administrative support in the tracking and monitoring the number of litigations across all municipalities in Gauteng; Render administrative support for monthly reports on legal, labour and other litigations related matters; Support the sub-directorate in coordinating the appointment of service provider to support Gauteng municipalities on legal and labour related matters; File the sub-directorate documents on labour and legal related; Render administrative support in tracking and monitoring the filling of Senior Managers and other technical critical positions in Gauteng municipalities; Provide administrative support municipalities to develop process plans for vacant positions; Render administrative support to the steering committee; File the sub-directorate documents on labour and legal related; Render administrative support in engaging and mobilising various stakeholders to support municipalities; Provide administrative support to key stakeholders in support of municipalities; Render administrative support in coordination and fostering of relationship with other key stakeholders; File the sub-directorate documents; Support in the development of PID’s for all projects; Render administrative support in the design of Project Plans for all projects; Implement effective tracking and monitoring mechanisms; Keep project documents; Keep track of project communications; Render support on reporting and recording of project progress.
