Requirements :

• Grade 12. Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council in terms of Government Notice 425, i.e. diploma/degree in Nursing as a Professional Nurse, plus a post basic qualification with duration of atleast 1 year in Advanced Psychiatric nursing Science. A minimum of 9 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. Atleast 5 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate /recognizable experience after obtaining the one year post basic qualification in Advanced Psychiatric Nursing Science. SANC membership registration. Computer literate. Verified proof of experience, valid EB driver's license. Strong leadership, good communication and sound interpersonal skills are necessary.

Duties :

• Coordination of optimal, holistic specialized nursing care provided within set standards and a professional/legal framework. Manage effectively the utilization and supervision of human, financial and services resources. Coordination of the provision of effective training and research. Provision of effective support to Nursing services. maintain professional growth/ethical standards and development of self and subordinates.
