Requirements :

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent, MBChB/MBBCh, current HPCSA Card, registration with the HPCSA as an independent practitioner, knowledge and experience in medical and surgical management. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure.

Duties :

• provision of surgical services. Manage surgical patients in all departments requiring.eg ICU, OPD clinic. Wards in general and casualty. Supervision and training of medical interns, clinical assistants and nursing staff. Ensure proper and accurate record keeping as legally and ethically required. Provision of quality cost effective services in keeping up with the Batho Pele Principles. Assist the HOD and ensure that the department is compliant to Ideal Hospital.
