Requirements :
-
MChD or MDent in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery. Minimum of two years experience as a specialist in maxillofacial and Oral Surgery. Current registration with HPCSA in the category independent practice in maxillofacial and Oral surgery.
Duties :
-
Coordination and active involvement in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Conducting research in the department and collaborations. Coordination of postgraduate students education and research outputs. Candidate will participate in patient care, monitoring and evaluation of maxillofacial services. Candidate will be expected to carry out administrative and managerial duties within the department. Commuted overtime is compulsory. Actively involved in all teaching platforms of the department/ school of dentistry.
