Grade 12 with at least two or more years of experience appointed in a clinical/Hospital environment, computer literacy. The ideal candidate must have organizational and time management skills. Have a knowledge of the legislative and policy framework informing the area of operation. Knowledge of PFMA and Treasury regulations. Ability to prioritize issues and work-related matters and comply with time frames set. Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Must be willing to work shifts including Sundays and public holidays, flexible to rotate with the administration areas and be able to work under pressure. Sound knowledge of Customer care and Batho principles.
Duties :

The successful candidate will be expected to perform all office-related tasks. This comprises raising patients’ invoices be familiar with ICD 10Code, IOD, RAF, Defence, SAPS and Correctional services. Making follow Ups of outstanding debts, writing-off of long outstanding untraceable Debts and submission of patient’s accounts to different stakeholders. Performing all duties as a cashier /sub cashier. Willing to work shifts including weekends, public holidays and night shift. To undertake all administrative tasks pertaining to the processing of daily transactions. Keep a good filling system. Follow up on stakeholder Queries. Any general office duties that may be required and must be willing to rotate in Finance department. Perform all other duties delegated by Supervisor/Manager within scope of practice
