Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) , NQF Level 4, N3). Diploma or Degree in SCM, Logistics, Public Adin/Public management will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years of appropriate experience in the hospital. 1 year in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage. Must be Computer Literate (Ms Word Excel & Power Point). Knowledge of inventory management. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management policies PPR2022 under (Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA). Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). Knowledge of National Treasury Regulations. Recommended: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Planning and organizational skills. Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of Stores management will be added advantage. In-depth knowledge of Financial systems, Asset Management Framework, Supply Chain Management. Skills and Competencies: Planning coordination expediting, reporting, proactiveness and organizing skills: Good interpersonal relations; effective communication skills (written and verbal; Computer literacy; Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Duties :
-
Provide administrative support to Supply Chain Management operations. Posting of VA2 and perform transactions. Update VA10 and VA8 tally cards to maintain accurate inventory records. Monitor inventory lists and maintain stock accuracy. Weekly issuing of stock through internal stock Summaries. Maintain minimum and maximum stock re-order levels to ensure optimal inventory. Maintain Calculated average cost on inventory receipts. Assist Compile demand plans based on end user needs. Replenishment of stock through adherence to precautionary factors quantities. Must be flexible to be deployed, and to be rotated across all sections within Supply Chain. Compile monthly reports on stock issued. Take part in Bi-Annual stocktaking i:e March and September. Maintain accurate inventory records in accordance with Supply Chain Management policies and procedures. Assist with Assets verification and perform and/ or carry other lawful duties or instructions as delegated by supervisor or manager.
