Requirements :

• Appropriate qualification that allows for registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner. Registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. Current registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. The following will serve as an added advantage: BLS, ACLS , ATLSA etc.

Duties :

• Clerking and admission of patients. Management of ICU patients under the supervision of consultants. This will include prescribing medications, performing ICU procedures and assist in monitoring the patients. good record capturing. Consulting with relevant specialties to assist in the care of the patients. Liaising with the different disciplines during admission and discharging of patients. Participate in the academic to do compulsory commuted overtime work.
