Requirements :

• Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant. Registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant and current registration. No experience required after registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant. No experience required after registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse. Exposure working at CHBAH will be added advantage. Preference will be given to the current CHBAH Covid staff. Competencies/knowledge/skills: Demonstrate elementary understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices. Perform an elementary clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards as determined by the relevant health facility. Promote quality of elementary nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards as determined by the relevant health facility.

Duties :

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). Provide elementary clinical nursing care. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development.
