Requirements :

  • Grade 12 Certificate with 1-2 years' experience in Finance (Relevant National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree will be an added advantage) and the following key competencies: knowledge of: Accounting, Basic accounting system (BAS) PAAB and understanding of public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Computer literacy (spreadsheet techniques) and numeracy. Ability to use Excel, communicate at all levels. Customer service, experience in client liaison and telephone, etiquette as well as good communication skills.

Duties :

  • The successful candidate will be expected to perform office related tasks. Collect information from cost center managers for budget allocations. Capturing of budget on the system on yearly basis prior approval. request report to clear up misallocations on monthly basis. Knowledge of all budgets related reconciliations (BAS/PERSAL, MEDSAS/BAS, Parking and accommodation). Capturing of FBU's and assisting during budget meetings. Update budget list on monthly basis and submit it to the end users. Assist supervisors in compiling IYM report monthly. Always take instructions from your supervisor and relieve other officials while on leave.
