Requirements :

Basic qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice 425 (i.e. diploma/ degree in nursing) as Professional Nurse. A minimum of 7 years appropriate experience in Nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC. Current proof of SANC receipt (2026). A qualification in Health Services Management / Nursing Administration from a recognised institution will be an added advantage. Must have a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, STI and TB (HAST) Programmes and PFMA Skills: Ability to impart knowledge to others, communication with diverse stakeholders, leadership, a flexible approach to work roles. Good communication skills (Verbal and written). Ability to adhere to strict timelines. Report writing skills, co-ordination skills, computer literacy (MS Excel, MSWord and MS PowerPoint). Planning and organization skills.
Duties :

Ensure that nursing teams acquire the skills necessary to implement HIV Prevention(HTS, PrEP, VMMC, VTP) and STI Programmes in all reporting units. Lead teams to achieve the 959595 strategy targets for HIV. Manage HTS-funded NGOs and RT35 VMMC partners . Management of resources(Finance, HR), Participate in Local AIDS Council activities around the area of delegation. Monitor the performance of reporting units on HIV Programme indicators and assist with implementation of turnaround strategies. Attend HAS Programme meetings, workshops and trainings. Compile reports for submission to the next reporting level. Participate in sub-district activities as a member of the Health sub-district team. Demonstrate basic computer literacy as a support tool to enhance service delivery. Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to improve service delivery.
