Requirements :

  • MBChB qualification. Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Medical Practitioner. A Diploma in Anaesthesia and experience in anaesthesia will be an added advantage. ACLS is recommended.

Duties :

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for rendering clinical services, which includes after-hours work (weekdays and weekends). These will consist of perioperative management and patient care. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in the department‘s academic program and research activities, including ongoing audits.
