Requirements :

• B-tech/BHSc Clinical Technology: Cardiology degree or equivalent qualification. Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa [HPCSA] as a Clinical Technologist in the specialized category: Cardiology. HPCSA registration must be an independent/private practice practitioner. Professional person with integrity and the ability to perform well under pressure. Self-driven, good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Duties :

• Clinical service rendering in a multi-disciplinary Cardiology team. After-hour emergency standby and call-out for emergency procedures. effectively perform clinical technology quality control procedures, including the management, calibration and sterilization of medical equipment and clinical supplies; ensuring effective utilization of resources in the workplace. Supervise and train clinical technology students
