Requirements :

  • Matric Certificate. A Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/ degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse. Registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse with proof of current registration. A minimum of 7 years’ appropriate/ recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing, valid drivers liscence. Added advantage: direct experience from clinical programs and R425.ability to organise own work with discipline, knowledge of relevant guidelines, regulations, health programs and policies, program planning, implementation and evaluation. Information management, quality assurance and improvement programs, leadership, communication, problem solving, computer literacy, stress tolerance, self-confidence, objectiveness and empathy, ability to manage leaves, effective problem solving at a strategic level, work as an authentic leader towards own work, gross application of emotional intelligence. Ability to work with persons of diverse intellectual, cultural, racial or religious differences, ability to implement a result based monitoring and evaluation framework. Working out of office and ability to plan your own weekly schedulle to address the overrall outcomes of the quality assurance unit. Ability to work independently without supervision for many periods of time.

Duties :

  • Supervise and evaluate quality of health care as servive delivery directed by the national complaints guideline and patient safety incidence. Monitor and evaluate the implematation of health care standards as directed by the Office of health standards compliance. Demonstrate an in depth understanding of the coordination of quality assurance deliverables at a district level. Ability to communicate efficiently for the effectiveness of quality assurance as a program. Demonstrate an in depth understanding of patient experience of care as a program that addresses patients rights to care. Work as part of a district quality assrance team for efficience interventions in customer care. Manage resources effectively and efficiently unit for effective utilisation of the budget. Compile and analyze reports with ability to present reports on all pltforms i.e. virtual or physical NB, ABILITY TO DEMONSTRATE. Work effectively and amicably, as a coordinator, Must have basic computer skills. Ability to assess the need, organise and conduct necessary quality assurance oversight. monitor a results based monitoring and evaluation framework buy understanding all concepts of the framework. Display a gross undersanding of how you can use data to analyse, plan and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance deliverables, ability to know the hospital quality assurance programs and activities thereof. Understanding of the total implemantation of regulated norms and starndards by OHSC and ideal health facitity framework. Monitor all the district health services quality assurance deliverables through effective coordination and supporting of facilities.
