Requirements :

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with current registration at the HPCSA as independent practitioner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to interact with the OT and multidisciplinary team. Grade 1 no experience required after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession. Grade 2 minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession. Grade 3 minimum of 20 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession. Working knowledge of quality assurance measures and performance management system, and Computer literate in MS Office will be an added advantage.

Duties :

  • Render an occupational therapy service in physical/psychiatry area that complies with the standards and norms as indicated by Health Policies. Participate in administrative and quality assurance tasks according to norms. Identify and report on risks. Participate in student training. Participate in professional and generic development programs.
