Requirements :

Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Staff Nurse. Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as Staff Nurse. Grade 1 No experience required after registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse. Grade 2 A minimum of ten (10) years appropriate/ recognisable experience in Nursing after registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse. Grade 3 A minimum of twenty (20) years appropriate/recognisable experience in Nursing after registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse. Demonstrate basic understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices.
Duties :

Promote quality of basic nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards as determined by institution. Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure good nursing care and positive clinical outcomes. Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). Measure, record and interpret vital signs. Sustain nutritional status of patients. Ensure personal hygiene of patient. Facilitate the elimination process. Willing to work shifts including night duty in different departments. Maintain professional growth/Ethical standards and self-development
