Requirements :

MMed or FCP qualification in Paediatrics. Proof of registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA). The candidate must be interested in working in Paediatrics. The candidate must possess the following skills: problem-solving and firm decision-making skills, strong leadership, sound communication and the ability to resolve conflict. Continuous education and evaluation in the clinical setting of Paediatrics is essential. Advanced computer skills to apply in patient care and management.
Duties :

The successful candidate will be expected to work in General and Ambulatory Paediatrics, providing comprehensive patient management in a tertiary care facility. Your role in ensuring the continuation of primary and secondary healthcare will be of utmost importance. The candidate will be responsible for comprehensive patient care, supervising and managing the medical staff, teaching students and overseeing critical components such as administration, ICD 10 coding, and record keeping. They will also be expected to actively attend academic, M&M, and hospital-related meetings.
