The applicant must have a 4 year biological degree and registered at a professional body as a scientist. Experience in Pharmacological clinical trials. Knowledge and experience in basic medical research. computer literacy, MS office and use of online systems such as databases and interactive response systems. Valid up to date GCP training. Must be fluent in English and prepared to attend national and international training and meetings. Must be able to work after hours and on weekends. A dispensing licence and phlebotomy training will be an advantage.
Duties :
-
Perform all start-up procedures for new pharmacological studies. Submission of studies to regulatory authorities. All study coordinator duties per study, all study protocol. This include screen and enrollment of patients in the study, all study visits of patients, maintenance of source documents and capturing of data in electronic or paper CRFs. Support investigators with study procedures. Maintain study site files. Complete close-out procedures of completed studies and archiving of study documents according to current laws. Assist the research team of the Department of surgery with studies. Submission of research outputs of the Department of Surgery for DOH acknowledgement.
