Requirements :

  • Appropriate qualification that allows for registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner. Registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. No experience required after registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.

Duties :

  • This sessional medical officer post is designed for individuals who are set on a career in Urology. They will work primarily on a sessional basis at the Urology Outpatient Clinic-and will be covering the clinical spectrum of the urological services that this department offers. They are also invited to attend all the surgical and educational activities, and grand teaching ward rounds. They are requested to work as part of the CMJAH Urology Cluster team. This position does not include any overtime work. Outside their allotted stipulated hours, these Sessional Medical officers are also permitted to perform private locum, private sector assistance or research activities on the non-service days.
