Requirements :

  • The candidate must be in possession of matric certificate, diploma/degree in speech therapy and should be registered as a speech therapist and audiologist with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA). The candidate must at least have (2) years’ experience according to OSD after community service.

Duties :

  • Provide effective Audiologist to the standards outlined by the HPCSA. To promote the profession of Audiologist by always providing information to patients and caretakers. To liaise and refer appropriately to other health care professionals. To provide mentorship and guidance to community service and student therapist. Conduct complete, diagnostic assessments and treatment on all patients referred. Be involved in training Audiologist students. Electrophysiology and Vestibular experience will be an added advantage
