Requirements :

  • Grade 12 Certificate. Appropriate qualification (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) that allows registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. Diploma in HIV.

Duties :

  • The Medical Officer will be expected to work at Family Medicine and provide excellent service. Clinical assessment, history taking, mental status examination and physical examination of all patient, formulation, development and execution of management plans of all plans of all patients. Assessment and management of emergencies. Counselling and education of patients and families. Proper clinical record keeping. Prepare referrals letters and discharge summaries for all patients. Proper record of all lab results. Participate in ward/department admin in maintain ward records. Commitment to emergency care highest level of ethics, professionalism and punctuality. Expected ability to work in a team and to report all potential conflict of interest and corruption.
