Requirements :

  • A recognized three or four-year qualification, which includes professional teacher education plus 8 years’ experience in the educational field with credible, relevant management experience. Must be registered with SACE. A qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage. Sound knowledge of relevant legislations, regulations, acts, and policies in the government service delivery environment. Proven skills to coordinate and administer projects. Knowledge of research processes and methodologies. Good analytic and data interpretation skills. Good business report writing skills. Proven management and leadership abilities. Possesses good communication and presentation skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently and in a team. Proficiency in the English language and possess sharp editing skills. A willingness to work extended hours at certain times. Proficiency in computer literacy is essential (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, Google drive). Valid driver’s license.

Duties :

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of the service delivery improvement mechanisms in line with relevant legislation. Monitor the implementation of service delivery across the departmental institutions. Ensure that departmental service delivery reports are crafted and approved. Benchmark service delivery improvement strategies against the national and international practices. Ensure relevant service delivery systems are in place to sustain and/ or improve the department’s performance. Coordinate service delivery forums. Conceptualize, plan, and execute external and internal departmental client satisfaction surveys. Generate reports and disseminate to the executive authority and other relevant stakeholders.
