Requirements :

Master’s degree in clinical psychology. Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an independent practitioner in a relevant registration category. Proof of current registration. Three (03) years working experience as a Clinical Psychologist after registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Psychologist in independent practice. A minimum of five (05) years relevant working experience in a managerial role will be an added advantage. A Doctoral degree will be an added advantage. Research outputs record and /or publication/s will be an added advantage.
Duties :

Ability to work independently and in a team, the ability to maintain being a service professional and strive to exceed customer satisfaction, computer literacy, good communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills, knowledge of relevant policies, Decision making skills, research conducting skills, leadership and managerial skills, problem solving skills and conflict resolution skills. General Management of the clinical psychology department. provide patient services to out-patients and in-patients. Provide professional and management support for the provision of quality patient care. ensure psychological services and provided according to professional standards and ethical principles. Develop client systems and programs that guarantee prompt service to patients according to the service delivery objectives laid down by the national department of health. provide guidance and leadership towards the realization of the strategic plans and operational plans. Utilize information technology and other management information systems to manage information for the enhancement of service delivery. Manage and utilize resources in accordance with relevant directives and legislation. Comply with all legal prescripts Acts, Legislatives, Policies, Circulars, Procedures and guidelines.
