Requirements :

• Grade 12. Basic qualification with the South African Nursing Council in terms of Government Notice 425, i.e diploma / degree in Nursing as a Professional Nurse, plus a post basic nursing qualification with the duration of at least 1 year in relevant speciality. Degree/ diploma in Nursing Management. PN-B4 A minimum of 10 years appropriate /recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional nurse with the South African Nursing Council in General Nursing. At least 6 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/ recognizable experience after obtaining the 1-year post basic qualification in any of the following qualification in any of the following qualifications, Primary Health Care Nursing, Child Nursing Science, Orthopaedic Nursing Science and Ophthalmology Nursing Science. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate / recognizable expensive at management level / Operational Manager at a Public Institution. South African Nursing Council annual practicing certificate. Valid EB driver’s license. Computer literacy. Service certificates compulsory. Strong leadership skill, sound Interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, good communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and written), report writing skills and planning g and organizing skills. PN-A7 A minimum of 8 years appropriate recognizable in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council in General Nursing. At least 6 years of the period referred to above must be experience of working directly with patients in a hospital. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate / recognizable experience at management level / Operation Manager at a Public Institution. South African Nursing Council annual practicing certificate Valid EB driver’s license. Computer literacy. Strong leadership skill, sound interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, good communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and written), report writing skills and planning and organizing skills.

Duties :

• Coordination of optimal, holistic specialized nursing care provide within set standards and a professional/ legal framework. Manage effectively the utilization and supervision of Human, Financial and service resources. Coordination of the provision of effective training and research. Provision of effective support to Nursing Services. Maintain Professional growth / ethical standards and development of self and subordinates.
