Requirements :

  • B.Sc Pysiotherapy Degree that allows for the required registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist. Grade 1: No experience after registration with HPCSA. Grade 2: Ten (10) years minimum experience in the relevant profession after registration with the HPCSA. Grade 3: Twenty (20) years minimum experience after registration with HPCSA as a Physiotherapist. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Duties :

  • Assessment and treatment of patients in adherence to the scope of practice. Assist with administrative activities, quality assurance and evidence-based programs. Contribute positively towards the development and growth of the physiotherapy department. Perform physiotherapy duties within the clinic. Participate in the health programs in the clinic. Implement and maintain quality assurance, National core standards, Ideal clinic, and norms at facility level. Adhere to provincial, district and clinic policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations. Assist with budget control and asset management. Contribute and participate in continuous professional development activities, colleagues, and multidisciplinary team members. Participate in research projects of the district. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Effective management of consumables and equipment

Personnel Suitability Checks (PSC) – Verification (Reference checks- Provide at least 3 of which one must be immediate supervisor, the Department shall reserve the right to conduct verification beyond names provided, where necessary. Failure to submit all the relevant information preceding the statement above will result in disqualifying the candidate.
