Basic qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice 425 (i.e., diploma/ degree in nursing) as Professional Nurse. A minimum of 9 years appropriate experience in Nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC. Proof of current registration with SANC. Must have a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, STI and TB (HAST) Programmes, Adult Primary Care Guidelines, and PFMA Skills: Ability to impart knowledge to others, communication with diverse stakeholders, leadership, a flexible approach to work roles. Good communication skills (Verbal and written). Ability to adhere to strict timelines. Report writing skills, co-ordination skills, computer literacy (MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint). Planning and organization skills.
Duties :

Ensure that nursing teams acquire the skills necessary to implement HIV management including Nurse-initiated Management of Anti-retroviral therapy (NIMART), Adult Primary Care guidelines and NAS decongestion strategies. Lead teams to achieve the 909090 strategy for HIV. Monitor the performance of reporting units on HIV Programme indicators and assist with implementation of turnaround strategies. Attend HAST Programme meetings, workshops and trainings. Compile reports for submission to the next reporting level. Lead sub-district HAST team. Participate in sub-district activities as a member of the Health sub-district team. Demonstrate basic computer literacy as a support tool to enhance service delivery. Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to improve service delivery.
