Requirements :

• An appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner, that is MBCHB. HPCSA registration certificate as an independent Medical Practitioner with proof of current registration (2023/2024). At least minimum of 6 months working experience after registration with the HPCSA. The Diploma in Primary or any other qualifications beyond will be an added advantage. Be able to work commuted overtime.

Duties :

• The incumbent will be responsible for clinical work and administration services in the department. Maintain satisfactory clinical, professional and ethical standards related to these services. Ensure effective and efficient orthopaedic services to contribute to optimal health care. Supervision of and effective utilization of medical staff. Responsible for training and teaching of Medical Interns, Junior Doctors and students. Assist in the implementation of department policies and programs. Participate in academic activities in the Hospital and in the cluster.
