Requirements :

  • A Bachelor of Oral Hygiene degree of a Diploma in Oral Hygiene with expanded functions (2000 - 2013). A relevant Master's degree and registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Oral Hygienist. A minimum of three (3) years experience after registration with the HPCSA. Proven research experience or publications . At least 3 years experience in Oral Hygiene teaching, training and management of under and postgraduate students. RECOMMENDATION: Curriculum development and assessment of students at a tertiary institution.

Duties :

  • Lecturing, clinical and outreach supervision and planning of outreach activities. Academic and resource management, research in the field of preventive oral health as well as clinical service rendering (treatment of patients).
