Requirements :

  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6)/Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology. 3-5 years’ experience at Assistant Director level (Junior Management) within Human Resource Administration in the public sector. PERSAL Certificate (Introduction to PERSAL/Personnel Administration). A valid driver’s license. Knowledge and skills. Knowledge and understanding of recruitment and selection prescripts and legislations, Human Resource Management methodology, Principles and Strategies, HRM systems, DPSA directives, Batho Pele principles, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), Promotion of Administrative Justice Act (PAJA), Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS), Public Service Regulations, Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act 130 of 1993, Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, Senior Management Service Handbook, Resettlement Policy, Acting Policy, PMDS, Security Management Policy, Knowledge and understanding of policy analysis and development and interpretation. Engage relevant stakeholders on human resource management issues e.g. recruitment and selection, ensure timeous advertisement of posts, prepare technical assessments for Senior Management Services posts and ensure competency assessments are conducted.

Duties :

  • Develop, implement and review human resource administration policies, strategies, and procedures. Manage recruitment and selection services. Manage basic conditions of employment. Manage human resource registry. Manage resources (Human/Equipment/Assets).
