A Matric plus an undergraduate qualification Degree/National Diploma (NQF level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Finance. A minimum of 1 - 2 years’ relevant experience within Contract Management or Supply Chain Management environment. COMPETENCIES: Job knowledge, Time management, problem solving, Planning and Organising, Flexibility and Innovative. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS: Good written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated. Work well under pressure. Good Interpersonal skills. Computer skills.
Duties :

Administer the full lifecycle of contracts. Initiate contract drafting process by liaising with Legal Advisory Services after BAC Recommendation and HOD Approval is obtained and ensure that the Service Level Agreements are concluded timeously. Preparation of the correct contract documentation as per the SOP and CM Framework. Verification and Acceptance of performance guarantees/sureties/insurances documentation. Capture Contract Data on SAP SRM and creation of Purchase Orders. Administer and monitor a register of all contracts. Implement controls to comply with contract requirements. Review and action all cancellations, amendments, expansions, variations, extensions or transfer of contracts awarded through the Bid Committee System. Assess and ensure that motivations to authorise increases in the total prices and price adjustments are in line with SCM Prescripts. Assess motivations to cancel and or terminate a contract and liaise with LAS. Evaluate Supplier Performance by obtaining progress reports and ensuring reports are submitted on a quarterly basis by Project Managers. Administer the release of guarantees and retentions in line with the provisions stated in the Treasury Regulations. Prepare reports on awards, deviations, extensions and variations. Identify and assess risks associated with contracts, including monitoring and mitigating risk. To ensure provision of customer care services to all end users i.e. prompt addressing of queries.
