Requirements :

• Educational qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Orthopaedics Medical Specialist. A completion of a minimum of 6 months national or internationally recognized fellowship training in Orthopaedics trauma and/or limb reconstruction.

Duties :

• Join the department of Orthopaedics at Steve Biko Academic Hospital as a Consultant in the trauma unit on a 15-hour per week sessional basis. Responsibilities will include ward round, one elective theatre list each week, undergraduate student teaching, supervising and mentoring medical interns and Registrars. Participate in the Departments academic activities.
